Originally from Austin, Macey studied at the Groundlings and is a nationally touring stand-up comedian. She has performed in festivals like Netflix is a Joke, Laughing Skull, Flyover, Limestone and Bergamot and has been featured on Netflix is a Joke Radio on Sirius XM. In Santa Monica, she hosts "The Picture Day Show", a popular stand-up show at The Crow. 

 

Macey also co-hosts the mental health and comedy podcast SSRI'M OK with Dr. Bijan Zarrabi, where they navigate discussions about mental health topics with expert guests and comedians.

In 1999, she was the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Champion at her elementary school. In 2022, she was named one of the Top 35 Comics to Break Out by Interrobang. In 2023, she was a finalist in KTLA's Summer of Funny. In 2024, she filmed a special for Dry Bar Comedy, and in 2025, she filmed a special for Don't Tell Comedy and even wrote this bio. ​​
