Originally from Austin, Macey studied at the Groundlings and is a nationally touring stand-up comedian. She has performed in festivals including Netflix is a Joke, Bergamot, and World Series of Comedy. She's featured for comedians such as Shane Torres, Alonzo Bodden, Dean Delray, and Taylor Williamson. Additionally, she runs a monthly stand-up show at The Crow in Santa Monica called "The Picture Day Show." You can also hear her cohosting the podcast SSRI'M OK where she and Dr. Bijan Zarrabi navigate discussions about mental health with the help of experts and comedians.

In 2018, "Pink Trailer," a short film which she co-wrote and co-starred in, premiered at SXSW. In 2022, she was named one of the Top 35 Comics to Break Out by Interrobang. In 2023, she was a finalist in KTLA's Summer of Funny. In 2024, she wrote this bio.
